Thursday night leagues are returning to AUSNZ Racing again in 2020, and will be bigger and better than ever thanks to your feedback on what we should run.Throughout the year we will be running series using the 5 most popular classes from the end-of-year survey, utilising a variety of race formats that will be suited to each class of car.

Two rounds into the seasons has produced some interesting battles and some hard fought racing to say the least. Mid Ohio with its tight corners an undulating track created quite a challenge for the most part giving the drivers a good indication of what lays ahead.

For this series, we at AUSNZ Racing are capturing the spirit of the Carrera Cup, by hosting a World Tour that takes in circuits from many of the national and regional series that the GT3 Cup cars compete in.

Reiza Development Update

You may recall from the AMS2 intro trailer that we already have a few historical Mclaren F1 cars lined up for release in AMS 2 (a lot more to come on that front) – as exciting as it is to be bringing those great classics back to life in AMS2, we find it´s important to give them some proper competition to race against.

The legendary Nissan R90CK is a Group C race car built for competition in the World Sportscar Championship (WSC) in 1990 and the North American IMSA GT Championship later on.

This specific 962 was developed by Joest Racing, who nicknamed it the “Doppelflügel”, “Double-wing”, in reference to its new rearwing, and is equipped with a 5-speed gearbox, a 750 HP twin-turbo charged engine at an approximate weight of 950 kg, producing top speeds close to 350 km/h.
