The Lausitzring (or to Eurospeedway Lausitz as it is more properly known) is large racing and testing complex in eastern Germany, built on the site of a former coal mine and home of continental Europe’s only oval superspeedway.

Once again it was a great car and track combination that produced some really close and exciting racing. Congratulations to all involved as it was all set at a very fast and furious pace. With a  19 initial starting grid, that has set  a new  high for a  thunder event, I can say that things are looking bright indeed. With the banter flowing and pedals at full throttle, laughs a plenty and a pace car that has becomes AUSNZ’s signature, The group is surging along and growing at a consistent pace. AUSNZ admin would like to thank all our members for making this a fun and enjoyable group. ” cheers guys” ! We would like to think that you all feel the same and would ask that if you could help out in  anyway on the donation side  of  things to help keep the group functioning, we would appreciate it very much. With that said! next week we head off to Zandvoort with the touring classic'(Pete’s choice) and on Saturday  the 7th of July its time to tackle the mountain again for round 2 of the Bathurst 1000. Look forward to seeing you all trackside !

“Spoiler alert”!  a little birdie told me of a special announcement, ” hmm”! wonder what that is ?
